Dr. Giulio Quarta is board certified by the American Gastroenterology Association. He is fluent in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Italian, which enables him to connect personally with patients from a variety of backgrounds.

Education & Training

Dr. Quarta joined our practice from NYU Langone Medical Center in New York, where he was a highly regarded fellow in the Department of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Quarta completed his research fellowship in gastroenterology at NYU Langone Medical Center, where he also performed his residency and internship. Before that, Dr. Quarta was a research scholar in computational biology at the Howard Hughes Medical Center in New York. He was a Sokol Scholar in Chemistry at New York University, where he graduated cum laude and later earned his medical degree.

Awards & Recognition

In addition to his laboratory and research work in RNA folding, cell culture, and fluorescence microscopy, Dr. Quarta has been published in various peer-reviewed publications, including Bioinformatics and Biology Insights, the Journal of Molecular Biology, and the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
